From our Family,

In 1967 Leopoldo Lopez Sr. opened the doors to the first La Bodega Market in San Ysidro, CA. As the family expanded, the next generation of sons and daughters opened additional store locations.
Today, the company operates two La Bodega Stores located throughout San Ysidro.
Our Vision for the future is to extend our services as a Tortilleria, Money Transfers, Check Cashing, Taqueria, Money Orders and Currency Exchange.
In addition to our variety of groceries, fresh produce, dairy products, and our top grade meat that we´re famous for, we´ve added restaurant quality hot and cold food to go or dine in.
Our tortillas and bread are prepared fresh daily for you to enjoy with friends and family, As a service to our community, some of our store locations provide transportation for our customers to and from their home, 5 days a week, free of charge.
